On a Personal Note…
Through time spent hearing others tell their stories, I discovered that one of the most important aspects of being human is authenticity. For me, listening to someone share their struggles and successes allows for a deeper connection which aids in providing meaningful impact on one’s life. My interest in biology and psychology led me to discover the field of neuropsychology, which I consider a powerful blend of studying what makes us human both biologically and psychologically. Through my time spent working in private practices, urban residential facilities, hospitals, and the Department for Veterans Affairs, I found that everyone has a story worth telling.

Life is a gift. At times, however, we can find ourselves stuck or unable to see patterns that keep us from living fully. It’s inevitable that either we or someone in our family has faced challenges at some point. Most people I see are unsure what to expect in a neuropsychological examination. My combination of authenticity, empathy, and humor provides space for people to be who they really are, allowing for a deeper connection while we work together. By helping people understand their mental processes through neuropsychological assessment, I leave them empowered and encouraged to direct and expand their lives. Working at a group practice like CNS enables me to explore different perspectives and to collaborate with other clinicians, discovering new knowledge in a powerful way.
