On a Personal Note…
I have always been a curious person with a deep love for learning. My nose has always been in a book, sometimes to my own downfall when I inevitably bump into someone or something! I loved entering different worlds, lifestyles, and personalities. As I made my way through school, with an ongoing curiosity and desire to learn, psychology was a natural path for me to take. What makes us do the things we do, think the things we think, and feel the things we feel? My curiosity about the human mind and human beings motivated me through graduate school and to where I am today. When I am with you, I seek to understand who you are and what makes you the person you are today. I want to fully understand you as an individual and to assist in any way I can to empower you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. I value holistic approaches that include resources available in our daily lives, such as nature, the food we eat, and the people who surround us. I also provide scientifically-supported treatments. By working in a group practice, I have the benefit not only of CNS’s entire staff but also of continued exposure to colleagues’ interests, particularly regarding the state of psychology, so I can remain up-to-date in the science of our field.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family outside, hiking the beautiful trails of Connecticut and beyond. I also enjoy travel and discovery, trying different foods and restaurants, and talking to people I meet along the way. My love for learning is still there, and it pulls me to try new things and to fully live and engage within the community.
